Title: Grace
1Grace
Do you really know what Grace is?
(Titus 211-12) For the grace of God that brings
salvation has appeared to all men.
(Titus 211-12) It teaches us to say "No" to
ungodliness and worldly passions
(Titus 211-12) Grace teaches us to live
self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this
present age.
It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and
worldly passions, and to live self-controlled,
upright and godly lives in this present age.
Grace says, No
The grace of God appeared

Grace in this present age
If Grace tolerates sin, then Grace becomes
undifferentiated from sin.
No, I will not give in to the lure of worldly
passions because it is a lie that the blindness
of sin is better than glory of grace.
We live in a world where it is difficult to
understand grace because we are surrounded by so
much ungodliness, evil, violence, lust and greed
and it is difficult to understand grace when our
hearts are filled with the anger, despair and
unforgiveness that comes with having come in
contact with evil.
In fact, it is impossible for people who have
been blinded by the anger and hardened by hurt to
see the sense behind offering forgiveness and
showing grace.
To understand Gods grace, we must first
understand that it is not just a nice, warm and
fuzzy feeling.
Fuzzy-feeling Grace cannot endure the sacrifice
that comes with forgiveness and the restraint
that comes with peace
No, I will not engage in ungodliness because the
price paid for me by the grace of God is far too
great for me to throw away.
Grace is alien to a painful world.
Forgiveness and gentleness come out of
self-control, uprightness and godliness.
In fact, the third thing we need to understand is
that the marks of Grace are not forgiveness and
gentleness.
If Grace is to be true and vital in our lives,
then it has to lead us into a lifestyle that
takes godly living seriously.
But that is why God had to make His grace visible
and undeniable
We can only say, No if we open our lives to the
living influence of Grace everyday.
It is from the character of Grace that the
actions of Grace proceed.
Grace can only bring salvation if it can stand
up against the onslaught of sin
