New collaborators

• CDIO workshops at MIT (w/IVA Tomorrow's
  Engineer), U. Cambridge and USNA. Planned for
  Lyngby in August, QUB in September, Stockholm in
  Nov., U. Pretoria in January 2005

• Daryl has given presentation on USNA adopting
  CDIO as the USNA to new/potential members at
  Stockholm, USNA
• Architecture developed and implemented for
  collaborator policy, meetings

• New collaborators
• U Liverpool, Singapore, Auckland new
  collaborators CDIO now in 4 continents
• MIT now the second Regional Center (actually, the
  1st - Pretoria is a Regional Centre)
• Interest shown by others in US, UK, S. America,
  Sweden, etc.

Dissemination - Sweden

• Svante, Johan, and Ingela participated in the
  Swedish rectors' meeting in April
• Plans to use CDIO Standards in self-assessment of
  Swedish MSc in engineering programs
• Svante and Ingela visited LiU faculty board to
  talk about Y-program and CDIO
• Kristina addressed program leaders, directors of
  study of all KTH depts.
• Standards translation done
• Kristina gave workshop at Högskolan Dalarna,
  Uppsala U.

• Ed gave presentation in Stockholm to IVA, Dublin,

• Daryl developed university leader's presentation,
  based on RTE, with integral notes for presenters

• Göran is developing a resource plan document
  based on data supplied by 4 original
  collaborators
• Bill in in the process of obtaining international
  trademark protection for the CDIO name/logo/brand
• Bill has had preliminary discussions with
  Northrop Grumman, British Telecom, GM, MIT ILP
  about creating an "industry team."
