Objectives of CoML
The imaging methods are non destructive. They
quantify, measure, classify and inform on
behavior of marine organisms
Constraints To be detected, objects have to
produce light or to be illuminated In the
water, the light is absorbed and diffused The
larger is the field of view, the lower the
resolution In deep, autonomous or long term
deployments, the available space, energy, data
storage capacity and transmission are limited.
