MATERNAL FETAL MEDICINE SUBSPECIALTY TRAINING
PROGRAM MCMASTER UNIVERSITY HAMILTON, ONTARIO,

McMaster University offers an exciting two year
subspecialty training program in Maternal Fetal
Medicine. This program is accredited by the Royal
College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. We
also welcome self funded candidates. The program
offers exposure to a broad range of clinical
experience and includes formal rotations in MFM,
ultrasound and prenatal diagnosis. Research
opportunities are numerous and the program offers
a six month research block to allow the trainee
to pursue their research interests. The faculty
currently consists of a dynamic group of
six Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists with a
wide range of clinical and research
interests. The program serves the Central-West
and Central-South regions of Ontario with a
combined population of 2.2 million providing a
large referral base. Hamilton is an industrial
city that offers a wide range of arts and
entertainment . Bounded partially by Lake Ontario
and the Niagara escarpment it provides a wide
variety of opportunities for recreational
activities ranging from water sports to hiking on
