Internet
  • All computers have access to the Internet
    (Internet Explorer)
  • The Internet is to be used for educational
    purposes only
  • Internet sites are filtered for appropriateness
    classroom computers can be set with more
    flexibility than labs
  • All students must sign an Internet User
    Agreement card to access the Internet
  • Disciplinary action for misuse of computer
    technology may range from verbal, written, or
    email warning, to access denial to suspension.

  • All teachers have an Outlook email account. (Not
    confidential, stored on server)
  • K-8 Students may be set up with Outlook accounts
    on teacher request
  • 9-12 Students have Outlook accounts
  • School email addresses listed on district
    website
  • Much building communication is provided through
    email

Servers
  • All teachers and students have an account for
    saving files on their buildings server.
  • It is recommended that teachers and students save
    all their files to the server to ensure they are
    backed-up.
  • Files saved to the hard drive of your classroom
    computer are not secure and are not backed up.
  • Teachers and Students can access server files and
    software applications from home via CITRIX.
