10Paddles assembly
- Scintillators
- Wrapped with Aluminium black Tedlar
- PMT shells
- The shells will be in 2 parts.
- They will pinch the top of the
- light guide.
- PMT
- Pmt and its HV board will be put in the shell
- Pmt pressure will be applied by 4
- screws on the HV board
- Paddles
- Each paddle will be screwed to the
- shielding at the Pmt shell level.
- PC Board
- Amplification board can be disconnected without
removing paddles.
11LPSC test prototype
12LPSC Assembly procedure
- Aim to solve mechanical problems make the
internal cabling in order to reduce - JLAB assembly time.
- Paddles Assembly
- - Scintillators and light guides will be glued.
- Scintillators and light guides will be wrapped
into aluminium and black Tedlar. - Pmt shells will be fixed onto top of light
guides. - Pmts and electronics will be put in and screwed
onto the pmt shells. - Shielding layer is used as the main structural
frame and put in horizontal position. - Tagger Assembly
- 1st paddles layer will be assembled onto the
shielding. - This 1st paddles layer will be all cabled.
- 2nd shielding layer will be installed.
- 2nd paddles layer will be assembled onto this
2nd shielding. - The 2nd paddles layer will be all cabled.
13Jlab Expedition procedure
- In order to minimise the Jlab assembly time, the
internal cabling will stay on - Light tight cover
- - The 2 paddles layer will be disassembled.
- The 57 paddles will be protected and packed in
boxes. - The 57 Pmts and their electronics will be
disconnected, protected and packed.
14Jlab assembly procedure
Pmts and electronics will be put in the pmt
shells using optical couplant. Then paddles
layers will be assembled onto shielding and
reconnected to the internal cabling.
