Rejects

• Transaction
• Records not accepted by CPS
• Data sent by electronic file from school or data
  provider
• Compute
• Record accepted but no EFC calculated
• Data source may be any input (FAFSA, FAFSA on the
  Web, FAA Access, school software, etc.)

Compute Rejects

• Verifiable
• A questionable, but possible, condition exists
• Data must be verified or corrected
• Indicated by alpha code
• Non-verifiable
• Data is missing or inconsistent
• Data must be provided or corrected
• Indicated by numeric code
