  phenomenon within Britain. Van Wersch

• Binge Drinking is mostly performed by young
  people (aged 16-25).
• 70 of all admittances in A E over the weekend
  is alcohol related. NHS (2009)

The End Result

• Not everyone is aware of the effects.
• Most feel that changes in licensing laws and an
  introduction of education.
• Public Services need to provide more facilities.
• More Police at peak drinking times.
