action plans on sustainable development

6Thematic networks
- Main instrument for the exchange between cities
- In total 46 networks planned (max. budget of
710.000), established around the themes listed in
the Operational Programme - Two calls for proposals) 2007/8 and 2010
- 8 to 12 partners per network - Duration of 36
months - Importance of good geographical coverage
- Local Support Groups in all networks
- Thematic Experts (to guide and follow the
process) - Possible use of the fast track option
(labelling) - ) The decision on further calls will be taken
by the Monitoring Committee after the evaluation
of the 1st call.
