althnews.com tested hunger hormones in obese and
thin people. In thin people the hunger hormone
peaked at night and in the obese clients the
hormone remained constant throughout the day.

- According to ABC last year there almost 3000 new
candies, desserts, snacks, etc introduced but
only 230 new fruit and vegetable products - Also the fast food industry promotes its super
sized value meals with twice the calories of a
regular meal

- Obesity is linked to increased risks of
diabetes, heart disease, stroke and high blood
pressure - Also there are increased risks of developing
sleep apnea, respiratory problems, and cancers of
the breast and colon

- Some routine processes are inhibited because of
obesity - For instance wound healing is delayed
- Also complications are more likely to develop in
pregnancy, labor, and delivery

- Avoid buying sugary fattening foodsreplace with
fruits and vegetables - Eat 5 or 6 small meals as opposed to 3 large ones
- Increase your physical activity
