Your task
  • Produce a portfolio of work that contains one of
    the key assignments outlined on page 6.
    Additionally, include up to SIX (204CR) or THREE
    (346CS) individual studio / homework exercises
    and their associated documentation.
  • Collectively, the key assignment and the studio
    exercises that you present should demonstrate the
    extent to which you have met the module learning
    outcomes listed on page 2.
  • Hand in the portfolio for marking at the Lecture
    on the 10th December 2007 (for an
    indicative/progress mark only) and at the Lecture
    on March 17th 2008 (for final marking)

Christmas portfolio hand in
  • The Christmas portfolio (05/12/08) should
    contain a selection of tutorial exercises
    (photo-story/rostrum camera in Vegas/ 4
    continuity editing exercises / One camera
    interview / Blue-screen exercise
  • PLUS
  • Planning / preparation Documentation for the key
    assignment. Production work for the key
    assignment will take place next term.

Presenting the portfolio
The format for the portfolio is very specific 1
A Data DVD with separate folders for the key
assignment and each Studio / Self-directed piece
of work that you have chosen to include (No more
than 6/3). The folders should be further
sub-divided into a finished renders sub-folder
and a planning materials/reflection sub-folder
(which includes all relevant documentation). The
Data DVD should also contain a contents and
reflection document that includes a clear list of
the full contents of the DVD and a brief (no more
than 1000 words) reflection on how the material
presented on the DVD demonstrates that you have
met the learning outcomes for the module.Here is
an an Example of how you might set out the DVD
