LCD SCREEN Displays time, date, phone number,
caller ID, line call status, and the soft key

4Adjusting the Height of the Footstand
- Push in the hard knob on the right hand side of
your phone set. - Move your phone up and down to the desired level.
- Un-depress the adjustment knob

- Office Dialing
- To place an internal call dial the 4-digit
extension - Remote offices will be available via 4-digit
extension as they are brought online. - Placing an Outside Call
- To place a local call dial 9 the 10-digit
number - To place a long distance call dial 9 1 the
10-digit number - Calling 911
- Dial 9911
6Placing a Call
- Lift the Handset and dial the number.
- Press the Line button and dial the number.
- Press the Speaker button and dial the number.
- Press the Headset button (if using a headset) and
dial the number. - Press the NewCall softkey and dial the number.
7Answering a Call
- Lift the Handset.
- Press the Line button.
- Press the Speaker button.
- Press the Headset button (if using a headset).
8Ending a Call
- Hang up the Handset.
- Press the EndCall soft key.
- Press the Speaker button.
9Muting a Call
- Press the Mute button.
- To remove mute, press the Mute button again.
- If you are using Mute and are on speaker, mute
will disengage if you lift the handset.
10Hold
- When on a call observe the soft keys on the LCD
screen, the Hold button is active. - To place someone on hold press the Hold soft key.
- To retrieve a call placed on Hold press the
Resume soft key. - While you have someone on Hold you can initiate a
second call by pressing the NewCall button.
11Call Transfer
- To transfer a call to another extension or an
outside number, press the Transfer soft key on
the screen. - Dial the extension or 9 10-digit number you
wish to transfer the call. - Press Transfer again and hang up.
- To announce the call, wait for the person to
answer. To complete the call touch the Transfer
button again and hang up.

13Conference Calls
- AD HOC Conference Calls
- A normal call is placed. To add another person to
the call - Press More, press the Confrn soft key.
- Dial the extension or number that you wish to add
to the call. - Press the Confrn button again. All parties will
be connected, you may add up to 5 people to the
original call. - Things to remember (1) only one person is
allowed to activate the Confrn button. From that
moment on they will act as the conference
administrator, and only that person will be
allowed to add participants. (2) If the
conference administrator drops out of the call
all parties will remain connected.

15Join
- To Join an incoming call to an existing call
- Answer the second call.
- To join the calls together
- Press More, press the Join soft key.
- Both parties will be connected and the Caller ID
display will show In Conference - Notes
- If you have more than two calls active, you may
use the Select softkey to choose which calls to
Join. - You may add additional incoming calls in the same
manner.
16iDivert
- iDivert Immediately Divert a ringing call to
voicemail - Phone will stop ringing and the call will be
transferred to your voicemail box - Press the iDivert softkey
17Call Forward
- To use Call Forward press the CFwdALL button on
your screen. - You will hear two (2) beeps. Dial the number
where you want to forward your calls. - Call Forward will work to any extension or phone
number. You must use a 9 to forward to an
external number. - To cancel Call Forwarding, press the CFwdALL
button.

19Park
- Park is a function that allows you to answer a
call and place the call in a holding slot while
you find the person the call is intended for. - To use the Park function, press the Park soft key
and look for the 4-digit number that will appear
on your screen. Remember this number as it will
soon disappear and you will not be able to
retrieve the call without it. - To access the Parked call, pick up any IP phone
and dial the Park Extension. The call will
automatically be transferred to the phone where
the Park Extension was dialed. - Calls will remain parked for up to 3 minutes.

21Call Pick UP
- Pick Up is a function that allows you to answer
calls that are ringing in your specified work
group. - This feature is only active before the calls goes
to voice mail. - To use the Pick up function, get dial tone, press
More, press Pick up, press Answer. Depress it
and the call will automatically be transferred to
you.
22Using Directories
- Press the Directories button to display the
Directory menu. - Use the Scroll key to highlight the desired
option Missed Calls, Received Calls, Placed
Calls, or Corporate Directory. - Press the Select soft key to display the desired
call history. - To speed dial a number, scroll to highlight the
desired number. Press the Dial soft key.
23Setting Up Voice Mail
- Lift your handset to your ear and press the
messages button. - You will receive a welcome to Unity message and
will be asked to provide your password. - Enter the default password of 121212.
- Follow the script to record your name, record a
personalized greeting and change your password.

- 5. Once youve changed your password you must
remember it. The System Administrator has no
view of your password. If you forget your
password, the System Administrator will need to
reset your VM box in the Unity server. - 6. Listen until you hear Unity tell you that
you have completed your VM set up. When you hear
this message, you may hang up or press for more
options. -

30CCM End User Page
The CCM user page allows you to control your
phone through the web. There are several things
you can do through this page. Examples Set up
Speed Dials, Fast Dials, and Personal Address
Book.
- To log in to the CallManager End User Page
- Open a browser
- Type in the http//10.10.101.220/ccmuser
- Default password 12345
- Change your password right away to your network
log in password. - Your User Identification (Your phone extension)

33CCM Speed Dials
- Adding/Updating Speed Dials
- Once logged in to your CallManager User Page,
click Add/Update your Speed Dials link. - Enter the speed dial phone number in the Speed
Dial 1 text box. For speed dials external to ,
append a 9 to the beginning of the Speed Dial
number. - Enter the speed dial display text in the Display
Text textbox. This is the text display for the
speed dial on your IP phone. - Repeat the steps above to configure multiple
speed dials. - Click Update to save your changes.
34Subscribe to IP Services
- Once logged in to the CallManager User Page,
click Subscribe to IP Services link. - You must subscribe to Personal Address Book AND
Fast Dials once. - Select Personal Address Book in the drop down
box. - Enter the Outside Access Code 9
- Enter your User ID
- Enter the default PIN 12345 (this does NOT
affect your voice mail) - Click on Subscribe
- Click on Update
- Repeat the same procedure for Fast Dials

- Return to the Menu page
- Click on Personal Address Book
- Click on Add New Entry
- Click on Fast Dials
- Click on (unassigned)
- Select a name from the personal address book and
choose a directory number - Click on Insert
- This service is now accessed on your IP phone by
pressing the Services hard button.
36Changing the Ringer Type
- Push the Settings Button
- Select 2
- Select 1 Default
- Scroll down and press Play to hear a sample of
each ring. - Find the ring you prefer and press Exit.
- Press Save to save the ring type.
