introduced the On-Time Guarantee -In 2002,
Video On Demand with iCONTROL was introduced
-In 2005, TWC is working toward taking over part
of Adelphia

- To gain knowledge in accounts receivable
- (payments from customers, updating accounts)
- -Entered payments into the computer
- -Went through and eliminated balances from
seasonal customers that were not going to return
this year - -Learned more about how hard it can be to collect
money from people for bills

- To demonstrate my computer experience (especially
in Microsoft Office) - -Created a better Excel document for the
equipment information - -Took forms and made current, more legible ones
in Word - -Worked in Excel to enter bankruptcies into the
computer system

- To create a better comprehension of cash
- resolutions in a business
- -Realized how much money was still on accounts
that needed to be paid by customers and billed
them for it - -Was able to get a close look at the amount of
money a company takes in

- To prepare any forms or
- statements for accounts
- -Filled out Manual Refund Request Forms when the
computer couldnt put it through automatically - -Sent out forms to customers to tell them that
they had a credit on their old accounts
transferred to their current one

- To distinguish between different aspects of
- Accounting, particularly accounts receivable
- -Got a closer look at the accounts receivable
directly related to a large business - -Saw some aspects of not only money directly
coming in to TWC, but money that we had to get a
collection agency to collect for us
15 Communication at Time Warner The INFOFLOW was
something new that they were trying out.
