12Notice of Proposed Title III Interpretations
- Released May 2 and discussed at June BCN meeting
- CA had many concerns
- ED is now planning to discuss final version at
October 16 meeting - More information to come
13Issues with Consortia-level Accountability
- The CDE implemented accountability at the
consortia level in 2006-07 and 2007-08 due to
federal requirement. - The CDE would like to go back to holding
consortia members accountable as LEAs if allowed
when the Proposed Interpretations are final. - This change would not affect the requirement to
form consortium if an LEA is not eligible for a
grant of 10,000 or more.
