Graduate Studies Overview

• The Deanship of Graduate Studies was established
  in 1972.
• It was the first Graduate College in Saudi Arabia
  and in Gulf Arabian States.
• The University was the first institution in Saudi
  Arabia to introduce Ph.D. programs in engineering
  in 1984

Admission Requirements for MS Programs

• B.S. Degree.
• A GPA of 3.00 or higher on a scale of 4.00.
• Three letters of recommendation from the faculty
  who taught you.
• Completion of TOEFL with a minimum score for MS
  admission of 68 (IBT). IELTS is also accepted
  with a minimum score of 5.5.
• TOEFL is waived if your GPA in ENGL 101, 102 and
  214 gt 3.00.
• Satisfactorily meeting any additional
  departmental or university admission requirements.
