- Allows internet-based data entry of client
information for use by our contracted agencies. - Meets legal requirements for security, privacy,
and confidentiality. - Collects data required to meet federal, state,
and other reporting requirements. - Is managed OHSC working under the direction of
the OPUS Steering Committee. The HSC is a member
organization of the steering committee.

23HMISHomeless Management Information System
OHCS will combine an off-the-shelf product with
its customized OPUS system to meet HUDs HMIS
requirements. The selection process for the
off-the-shelf product ended last week.
Oregons HMIS is anticipated to roll out July
2004.

24UDS- Universal Data System
The Bureau of Primary Health Care Requires the
HSC to submit a UDS report for the Community
Health Centers of Lane County each year. Our
first report will be for January December 2004.

26UDS- System to Collect Data
The HSC is responsible for identifying a system
to collect the data required by the BPHC.
OCHIN will be our MIS for the clinics. Besides
reporting, assists with day to day clinic
processes and billing.

27OCHIN Data Collection
Data collection for the UDS via OCHIN will be
part of every office visit (encounter.) The
intake will produce information necessary for the
appointment that day, billing to the insurance
provider(s), Medicare reports, OMAP reports,
Ahlers Report, and the UDS report. The CHCLC
can query the database for in-house reports for
planning, staffing, and service evaluation.
