- 5 pilot projects running in the borough over
180k invested - Building Skills for Life testing if providing a
menu of different work placement options (white
and blue collar) offers an attractive and
sustainable intermediate employment opportunity. - Stepping forward to work testing approaches in
supporting disabled participants through new
development opportunities through all 4 key
stages of the Change pathway. - Contract Links if project activity can
successfully engage local people into the
physical regeneration of their community on a
voluntary basis as a pathway to work - Local Food Solutions approaches to successfully
engaging local people in developing their skills
and qualifications and improve their own
community green areas. - Entrepreneurship for Disabled People testing
approaches supporting disabled people in receipt
of Incapacity or ESA Benefit the opportunity of
exploring and starting their own business.

- 1 enhancement project 50k
- ASGARD enhancing a successful element of the
NHS employability programme. This service
engages with unemployed family members of
current CTP apprenticeship style participants.
Offering them support in an apprenticeship
style post with partner organisations offering a
variety of training.10 -15 participants.
Funds enable searches for new employment
opportunities and is enabling ex- employability
participants to become effective mentors to
new participants on the scheme.
