  • If you wish to specialize in a particular area
    of
  • Mechanical Engineering, schedule an appointment
    with the Faculty Coordinator assigned to that
    track he or she will assist you in choosing
    appropriate electives
  • Join a student organization
  • If you are not a member of an MEM student
    organization, now is the time to build a network
    of friends and future professional affiliations

  • Identify other students who would make dependable
    and enthusiastic teammates and organize a senior
    design team (juniors from other majors may
    participate)

    presentations (during the Fall or Spring) and
    experience first hand the many challenges
    involved in planning and delivering a high
    quality presentation
