• has been on the forefront of the energy market
  since deregulation began in 1999. ERC has
  negotiated with over 750 utility companies in 36
  states and has purchased millions of dollars in
  deregulated electric and natural gas commodities
  on behalf of its clients. In addition to Energy
  Procurement, here are some of the other services

Energy Services Division

• Performance Contract Evaluations Review existing
  energy performance contracts to make sure the
  savings proposed by the provider are, in fact,
  materializing for you.
• Utility Setup and Management Manage the opening
  or closing of facilities as your business needs
  change. Interface with the utility companies to
  have the services installed (or removed) so you
  don't have to worry about making sure service is
  available on time.
• On-going Deregulated Contract Negotiations Re-neg

  terms more favorable to our clients. Opportunity

The cost of electricity is charged using two
different cost components

• Electric consumption and Demand
• Sometimes a third charge, Power Factor also
  applies.
• Many utility companies charge an additional
  fee if your power factor is less than 0.95.

• Power factor is the ratio of Real Power to
  Apparent Power. A low power factor indicates poor
  utilization of electrical power and requires the
  electric utility to increase generation and
  transmission capacity.
• ERC can help you determine the most efficient
  ways of utilizing the electrical needs for your
  business. Also, our engineers can
  identify the optimum power factor correction and
  the correct installation of capacitors in your
  electrical system if needed.
