Environment Pollution.

• The presence of harmful and undesirable
  constituents in the environment resulting from
  human activities is called pollution.

There are four types of pollution

• . Air pollution.
• . Water Pollution.
• . Soil pollution.
• . Noise Pollution.

In this presentation we will talk about Air and
Water Pollution

Importance of Air.

• Air is all around us and we all know that we
  need air for breathing. The air is a mixture of
  several gases. It contains 78 nitrogen and 21
  oxygen and other gases in small amounts. If we
  will not get air for some seconds so we will die.

Air pollution.

• The presence of one or more contaminates in the
  atmosphere in such quantities and for such time
  as is injurious ,to human
• health or welfare, animal or plant life is also
  known as Air Pollution.

The moment we step out of our homes and go to a
busy road wecan notice the air getting polluted.
A thick cloud of smoke from the exhaust of a bus,
car, auto rickshaw, or a scooter, smoke coming
out from a factory chimney and speeding cars
causing dust to rise from the roads are a common
sight.

Causes of Air Pollution.

• There are many causes of air pollution.
• Carbon monoxide (CO)
• Carbon dioxide (CO2)
• Suspended particulate matter (SPM)

Causes of Air Pollution.

• Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCS)
• Ozone (O3)
• Lead
• Fly ash

The presence of Suspended particulate matter (
SPM ) in the air cause difficulty in breathing.
Their presence may cause damage to lungs and
respiratory diseases. It may sometimes cause of
cancer.

Prevention of Air Pollution.

• We all know that we need a healthy and clean air
  for breathing. for doing so, we have to take some
  steps that are necessary and observe some
  restraints. Some such steps are restraints are as
  follows

We should follow these steps.

• As far as possible, lead free fuel, such as
  compressed natural gas (CNG), should be used for
  running cars, buses, and trucks.

• Do not use bags made from plastics. Use only
  cloth and jute bags and dont burn plastics
  polythene, wheels, Plastic things etc.

• Save electricity. In the long run, it will amount
  to burning fossil fuels.

• Grow more trees. They are the natures lungs.
  Look after the trees in your neighbor hood.

• Do not smoke be discreet towards those who are
  in your immediate neighbor hood.

Importance of Water.

• Water is one of nature's most important gifts
  to mankind. Essential to life, a person's
  survival depends on drinking water. Water is a
  key component in determining the quality of our
  lives.

Water Pollution.
The presence in water of enough harmful or
objectionable material to damage the water's
quality is called Water Pollution.

Whenever we step out of our homes and go to near
the river or any water full place. We can see
that the people are wasting and polluting the
water. They are bathed to him self and her pet
animals. Some people are washing clothes in river
that is reason of water pollution.

If the water is polluted and sometimes it have
causes of many diseases for example- Cholera,
Typhoid, Hepatitis A, Guardia etc. This diseases
are dangerous for us.

Causes of water pollution.

• There are many causes of Water pollution.
• Humans cause almost all of water pollution, this
  is caused by using excess fertilizers, sewage,
  oil and others.

Prevention of water pollution.

• We all know that we need a clean and fresh water
  for drinking. For doing so, we have take some
  steps. Some such steps are follows

• Do not waste water and try to save it from
  polluted
• Do not bath in river and do not wash the cloths.
• For conform that water is clean. We should
  boiling the water.

We should follow these steps.

• Do not leave the water in the position of open.
• Save the water for making electricity.
• We should taking the water in safe place and put
  up the plate.
