What is M-SHARP?

• M-SHARP is a training management system
• Replaces SARA for all flying units and ATRIMS for
  all aviation ground (MACG/MWSG)
• Reference NAVMC 3500.14, 2007 AVPLAN, various
  message traffic
• Web-based, but still supports deployed operations
• Government-owned, maintained by InnovaSystems
• Completing roll-out to all flying units as they
  return from deployments
• In use at all MCAS/MCAFs
• Every FW, RW, TR community

Primary Functions

• Training Management Flight, ground, and duty
  scheduling with automatic tracking of
  qualifications, designations, proficiency and
  flight hours in accordance with NAVMC 3500.14
  (Aviation Training Readiness Program).
• Operational Risk Management Pre-execution
  hazard identification through objective
  enforcement of policy from a variety of sources.
  Includes ability to automate local rules and
  regulations through creation of M-SHARP decision
  trees.
• Document Management Complete TR manuals for
  all communities contained in M-SHARP as single
  source of TR information and standardization.
• Readiness Management Computes Combat readiness
  percentage (CRP) and Core Skill Proficiency (CSP)
  with plans for real-time unit training readiness
  (T-Level) reporting via the Sortie-Based Training
  Plan (SBTP), Core Model Training Report (CMTR),
  integration of the Core Competency Resource Model
  (CCRM), support for Defense Readiness Reporting
  System Marine Corps (DRRS-MC).
