  • MyPyramid recognizes that each person has
    different intake needs, AKA your calorie pattern.

  • MyPyramid.gov has made even more improvements!
  • You can now find your personalized calorie
    pattern based on the following information
  • Age
  • Gender
  • Height
  • Weight
  • Physical activity level

The colors
  • The wide variety of bright colors are to remind
    you that you need a wide variety of foods.
  • Especially with fruits and veggies, variety is
    key!
  • The more colors on your
  • plate, the better.

Vertical Food Groups
  • The widths of the food groups represent the
    portion of your diet that should come from each
    group.
  • Each group gets thinner toward the top to
    represent moderation. Remember not to eat a lot
    of foods that arent good for you.

    exercise.
  • Eating healthy is great, but its not enough.
    You need to be physically active too!

  • This is a new concept that teaches you to budget

    pattern and get the stuff you
    need FIRST.

  • It is a reminder that changing your eating and
