• This tour will be a 3-day, 8 campus tour of
  various college and university campuses in
  Georgia.

About The Trip

• Travel
• Wednesday, May 6 Friday, May 8, 2009
• At least two campuses per day
• 2 Lunches will be on college campuses Dinners at
  Golden Corral and Ryans on the road
• Cost will be discussed later with your parents,
  but includes all travel, meals and hotel
  accommodations
• You will each have an opportunity to compete for
  one free seat on the bus

How Can My Child Go??

• This morning students received an invitation
  based on the following criteria
• At least a B/3.0 average for the 1st quarter
  grading period
• No ISS or OSS during the 1st semester
• Once invited, each student will need to secure
  his/her space with a deposit by December 18,
  2008.

• In January after 2nd quarter grades have posted,
  we will pass out a second set of invitations to
  students who did not meet the criteria the first
  time, but meet the criteria at the beginning of
  the 2nd semester
• Once invited, each student will need to secure
  his/her space with a deposit by February 12, 2009.

What is the Indian of Excellence Award??

• At least one free space is available for
  students
• Qualifications
• A 1 page-5 paragraph essay explaining why you
  deserve to attend the trip free of charge
• 10 hours of documented community service
• Applications Due Friday, February, 27 2009

What Do I Do Now?

• Work with your child and his/her teachers to make
  sure he/she receives an invitation!!!!!!!!
• Help keep your child on track so that you dont
  lose money.

How Much Will it Cost Me?

• Cost and Payment Plan
• 230 per child/chaperone includes EVERYTHING!!
• Total will be paid in 5 installments
• Deposit 30 due Thursday 12/18/08
• 2nd payment 50 Due Friday 1/9/09
• 3rd payment 50 Due Friday 2/13/09
• 4th payment 50 Due Friday 3/13/09
• Final payment 50 Due Friday 4/10/09
• ALL PAYMENTS ARE FINAL AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE
  GIVEN FOR ANY REASON!!!
