To Cite A Reference
  • Determine what kind of source you have
  • Book, edited book, article, online article, etc.
  • Find the appropriate example in APA style manual

  • (Author, date) Citing entire source
  • (Author, date, pp. -) Citing specific part
  • Give enough information to find source in
    reference list.
