1
Auschwitz Vs. Bam Earthquake
  • By David Engerer

2
Man-Made disaster Auschwitz concentration camp
  • 1940-1945
  • 60 km. Southwest of Krakow, Oswiecim in the
    Auschwitz concentration camp.
  • The total death toll in this disaster was 1.5
    million people.
  • Most of the people murdered at this camp were
Jewish. They were all murdered by the order of
Adolf Hitler. They nazis were ordered to
eliminate all Jews from the face of the earth.

3
Natural disaster Bam Earthquake
  • 2003
  • Iran
  • The total death toll of this disaster is 70,000
    Iranians.
  • On December, 26, 2003, A earthquake stuck Iran
killing 70,000 Iranians taking cover in under
ground mud shelters. The earthquake took down the
Bam citadel. The survivors left the dead buried
as they were found in the mud instead of burying
    them in a cemetery.

Man Made disaster Vs. Natural disaster
5
What I think
  • I think that the major difference between
man-made disasters and natural disasters are that
natural disasters are not done on purpose, they
are done in no control of anyone. Man-made
disasters are caused by cruel humans that have
the choice to kill, or leave alone, but they
    choose to kill instead.

6
Davids suitcase
  • Five items that I would put in my suitcase would
    be
  • 1. Warm clothing
  • 2. Any kind of food
  • 3. A cell phone to call anyone
  • 4. Skateboard
  • 5. Transworld magazines
  • I would choose these 5 things because I like to
skateboard and I could call any one that I need
to call. I could wear warm clothing and I would
eat all of the food that I need. I would Stay
warm and hope for the best.
