• Utilizes backer boards from veneer quality
  logs, North Americas highest grade providing a
  crème de la crème selection.
• Every 4 wear layers represent one veneer log !
• The wear layer has been classified as recycled
  Post Industrial waste as it is used for boiler
  fuel when not reworked into wear layers.

As a part of our ongoing commitment to
responsible forestry practices, the American
Woods Collection features the following
environmental attributes
U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Member The
LEEDTM program, developed by the USGBC, rates
building projects on a myriad of environmental
points. This flooring qualifies for LEEDTM
points, increasing the environmental or green
rating of the building where the flooring is
being used. Recycled Content Approximately 25
of the wood used in manufacturing this line comes
from a manufacturers post-industrial waste. This
is the solid wear layer which is 100 recycled.

FSC Certified American Woods Collection Only
The American and World Woods Collection
SingleStrip Wood Flooring
Through Scientific Certification Systems (SCS), a
Chain of Custody Certificate has been awarded in
accordance with the Forest Stewardship Council
A.C. (FSC).
At least 75 of the wood used in manufacturing
this line of products comes from well managed
forests certified in accordance with the rules of
the Forest Stewardship Council. The core/back
components, which comprise 75 of the flooring by
volume, are 100 FSC certified (while the solid
wood wear layer is 100 recycled). A Chain of
Custody Certificate by SCS in accordance with
Forest Stewardship Council A.C.

Finish

• The Factory Finish used is a full fill coat
  finish, containing aluminum oxides in the fill
  coats and the latest anti-scratch top coats,
  which allow re-screening and refinishing.
• 9 coat, High Wear UV cured Acrylic Urethane
  w/aluminum oxide in base coats and Anti-Scratch
  top coats in a Satin Gloss.
