  • ImagiNation Sports in partnership with Athletes
    for A Better Detroit, an educational and
    recreational non-profit, and the New Detroit
    Science Center would like to secure a partnership
    with your organization and other local sponsors
    to facilitate a learning based after-school
    program exploring the math and science of sports,
    reading fundamentals, and career opportunities in
    technology.

  • The ADB 3010 Tech Lab and Weekly Reading Program
    will be launched in the Spring of 2005 targeting
    100 Detroit area schools. The sponsorship will
    include appearances by Detroit Tigers players and
    alumni, as well as appearances by Athletes for A
    Better Detroit members at area schools and
    community based events, leading up to the ABD
    3010 World Tournament, a youth academic and
    fitness competition on Saturday, July 9, 2005 at
    Willie Horton Baseball and Softball Diamonds. The
    ABD World Tournament allows participation in four
    areas of competition to win cool prizes including
    Major League Baseball All Star Fan Festival

  • Throughout the 2005-06 school year, Athletes for
    A Better Detroit will host its 12-week after
    school program that, promotes math and science
    enrichment, physical fitness, and reading
    fundamentals. This program was developed to
    address the concern that most youth violence
    occurs during the after school hours, 330 pm
    800 pm. Moreover, in Detroit, an estimated 47
    of adults are functionally illiterate, over
    455,000 that cannot read at basic levels. Our
    goal is to expand delivery of our after school
    module to over 100 Metro Detroit schools during
    the 2005 06 school campaign to excite children
    about learning to help reverse these trends.

The Benefits   Sponsors and businesses who get
involved in this event will benefit from being
associated with one of this stations top seasonal
events and position your business as a partner in
hosting positive community events. The
collateral advertising associated with this event
will reach an estimated 600,000 Detroit
Metropolitan consumers age 12 . Over 48 of
those consumers will fall within the 25-30 year
old age demographic. This event will allow your
business the opportunity to make inroads within
the community. Partnering in community events has
a resonating effect with consumers! African
American consumers patronize the businesses that
give back to the community and getting involved
in this event is a terrific way to bolster
consumer loyalty. Pre-event promotion will
incorporate appearances by, Athletes For A Better
Detroit members, on-air personalities from WJLB
Detroits 1 station for Hip Hop R B, and
live call-ins on event day reaching an estimated
125,000 listeners age 18. Moreover, Fox 2
Television will also promote and acknowledge the
event and its supporters with pre-event and post
even coverage, and a public service announcement
featuring Athletes For A Better Detroit members.
Lastly, the line-up of pre-event and post-event
programming at Comerica Park, home of the Detroit
Tigers, adds significant value to sponsors and
businesses. Since its opening in 2000, Comerica
Park as averaged 1.2 million fans per season.

SPONSORSHIP 3010 Kids (Urban Vehicle
Program) Throughout the Spring and Summer
2005, the 3010 Experience Urban Vehicle Program
will feature a vehicle wrapped with the Athletes
For A Better Detroit and sponsor logos, and
feature Xenotron Characters from the 3010 Card
Game Series and Futuristic adaptations of
Athletes For A Better Detroit Players. The 3010
Experience Vehicle will caravan to schools,
community events, parks, recreation centers,
barbershops, and Special Events and will be
strategically placed during events to afford
increased brand exposure for potential sponsors.

3010 Mural Project Public Artworks and
Motor City Blight Busters have partnered with
Athletes For A Better Detroit to design and erect
the ABD 3010 Mural with a message to our youth
The Future of Sports Is In Your Hands! The
mural will feature a list and images of Detroits
Hometown Sports Heroes alongside Characters from
the futuristic world of 3010. The mural will be
maintained and updated to include new additions
to this Wall of Fame as more of Detroits
talented youth achieve greatness in sports as
athletes, coaches, and executives. A
portion of this sponsorship is Tax Deductible.
