How to Make Your Images MOVE!!!

• Using Windows Movie Maker

Step 1 Locating Movie Maker

• Open the Movie Maker program
• This program can be found in the START menu of
  your computer

Step 2 Begin Working

• Once you have opened Movie Maker it is time to
  begin creating your movie!!
• In the upper left-hand side of your screen click
  on the File button in the navigation bar.

Step 3 Importing Pictures

• The navigation bar on the left side of the screen
  gives you links to all the different commands
  that you can tell the program to do.
• Click on Import Pictures.
• Locate the pictures you wish to upload on your
  computer hard drive or jump drive.
• Select the pictures and then click Import.

Step 4 Creating your picture timeline

• Drag and Drop (clicking on picture, holding the
  mouse button down, and dragging the picture to a
  designated rectangle at the bottom of the screen.

Step 5 Transitions from picture to picture

• Transition effects, where the pictures change
  from one to another in an interesting fashion,
  help to flow your pictures from one to another
  fluidly.
• Click on View Video Transitions in the
  left-hand menu bar.

Step 6 Video effects for each slide

• In addition to transition effects, you can also
  add effects to each slide. These effects change
  the way that each slide appears after the
  transition effect.
• Some examples are fading into color from black,
  fading from color to white or black, zooming in,
  zooming out, and transitioning from color to color

CHECK YOUR MOVIE!!

• To check the video effects that you have selected
  to see if they mesh well with one another or if
  they distract from the pictures that you are
  animating, you can click play on the screen to
  watch your movie. In other words, this is trial
  and error. So, to see if you like something you
  should watch the movie as it is to see if you
  need to change something!

Step 7 Adding Audio

• Adding audio will create an overall theme for
  your movie.
• Whether it is voice instructions from you or a
  song, audio can be imported just like pictures.

Step 8 Putting it all together

• You have uploaded pictures, audio, and created
  the transitions from picture to picture.
• Now, lets put the whole thing together.

Step 9 Saving your movie

• There are two ways that you can save your movie
• Save as Project
• Save as Movie

Step 10 Watching your movie

• To watch your movie, just open the file where you
  chose you save it, double click on it, and it
  will open in Windows Media Player. You may have
  to click play, but it should begin on its own.
