15Regional Challenges Issues
- Phased Development
- Given quantity and quality of deployed
information along with cell phone - 511 activation, does phased deployment allow
status for So Cal 511to - change?
- Financing
- What is the best model for regional organization
to deal with the issues of on-going - OM in a multi-jurisdictional environment and the
maintenance of support to - existing products and services? Region is also
facing high land line conversion - costs and is short on resource.
- Private Sector Involvement
- So Cal Region rich in information, particularly
private sector provided. How does - Region leverage that private investment and/or
product towards system - implementation and sustainability? Integration of
many different types/styles of - information is also a challenge from a cost
effective point of view.
