What Is Secondhand Smoking?

• Secondhand smoking is a mixture of smoking giving
  off by the burning end of a cigarette, smoke
  exhaled from the lungs of smokers. Secondhand
  smoke contains 250 chemicals known to be toxic
  and cancer causing, including formaldehyde,
  benzene, vinyl chloride, arsenic, ammonia, and
  hydrogen cyanide.

The Dangers of secondhand smoke

• Secondhand smoke causes about 3,400 deaths each
  year from lung cancer in non-smokers. It cause
  irritate of the eyes, nose and throat. Also it
  can irritate the lungs cause you to cough and
  breathlessness. Second hand smoke has been
  estimated to cause 46,000 deaths per year from
  heart diseases in adult non-smokers

Secondhand Smoke Especially Hurts Children!

• Children who breath secondhand smoke are more
  like to suffer from pneumonia, bronchitis, and
  other lung diseases. Children who breathe
  secondhand smoke can have more ear infections.
  They also can get asthma or more asthma attacks.

How Can You Protect Yourself and Your Family?

• Dont smoke inside or near children
• Make sure no one is smoking in your home that are
  near your children
• Help people try to quit smoking
• Make sure your children stay away from people who
  smoke

• And if u dont want to quit make sure you dont
  smoke around children.
• When you finish smoking the air still has all the
  chemicals of the cigarette. So stay away from
  your area you where smoking at.

  children under the age of 15 start smoking every

  caused by a smoking-related disease. Many people
  think its cool but its not, its bad for you.
