PI Primary Department

• Your PIs primary department MUST be selected
  from the eIRB data base drop list.
• Do not type in the name of your PIs primary
  department if it does not appear in the drop
  list.
• If you cannot locate your department in the list
  
• Search for other AND
• Select Other (Department Not Listed)
• There are two campuses Broadway (indicating the
  Johns Hopkins Medical Campus in East Baltimore)
  and Bayview.

PI Primary Department

• Click the Information Technology icon for
  step by step directions.

PI Primary Department

• Click Select.
• This opens the Select Department List window.

• Select Department List window
• Type in the first few letters of your department
  name in the text box.
• You can also type a before and after any part
  of the name to search all names that include
  those letters.
• Click Find. This displays all departments with
  the selected name.

• Select Department List window
• Use the scroll bar if necessary to see the entire
  list.
• Use the forward or back arrows in the gray bars
  at the top and bottom of the window to view more
  names.
• Select the PIs primary department.
• Click OK.
• Save the screen.

• PIs primary department not listed?
• Search for other and select Other
  (Department Not Listed).

• The PIs department is a required question.
• The PIs department must be selected for the PI
  to submit.
• Save the screen.
