What is a backbone?
  • A backbone is a bone in your back. It helps to
    support your weight, and protects your spinal
    chord, which is very important.

Why is a back bone important?
  • A backbone is very important for all animals who
    have one.
  • The three important functions of the backbone
    include Support, Protection, and Movement.
