• Sharp Objects
• Use extreme care when using knives and sharp
  objects

• Keep lab area clean
• Secure loose clothing and hair
• Absolutely NO eating or drinking in lab unless
  instructed by teacher

• Wear safety goggles when heating materials
• Use caution when using open flames
• Electricity
• Make sure no wires are exposed
• Turn equipment off when finished

• Chemicals
• Always wear safety goggles when mixing chemicals
• Never mix chemicals unless instructed by teacher
• Follow procedures carefully when mixing chemicals

• Examine glassware prior to using
• Check for cracks or chips in glassware
• Notify teacher if you have any problems
