Laboratory Safety Rules
  1. Do only the experiment assigned or approved by
    the teacher. Unauthorized experiments are
    prohibited.
  2. Wear proper eye protection, lab aprons or other
    specified protection during all lab activities.
  3. No one is allowed to eat, drink or chew gum in
    the lab.

  1. Never engage in horseplay or practical jokes in
    the lab.
  2. Dress appropriately on days when lab work will be
    done. No open toe shoes.
  3. DO NOT wear contact lenses in the lab when
    chemicals are being used.
  4. Confine or securely tie hair that reaches the
    shoulder. Hair is flammable.

  1. Immediately report all accidents, no matter how
    minor, to the instructor.
  2. Never do any procedure that you are unsure of the
    proper way to perform it.
