Five EXERCISE 2 ANIMATION
1) Launch Fireworks. 2) Open blackbackground-stanf
ord.gif and select it using the Pointer Tool.
23) Under Modify, choose Animation, then Animate
Selection. 4) Choose the number of frames, the
movement, the direction, the scaling, the
opacity, and the rotation desired. For this
exercise, choose as listed, then click OK. Click
OK at the warning message.
35) Open the Frames and Windows window. Choose
No Looping. 6) In the Preview tab, click the
Play/Stop button to preview the animation.
Although you have selected No Looping, it is
likely that the animation will loop -- dont be
concerned its a known issue with Fireworks.
47) Under File, choose Export Wizard. Click
Select an export format, then Continue. Choose
Animated GIF, then click Continue.
58) Click the Animation tab.
69) Make sure that the animation is set to only
run once and not loop. If you desire, you may
click on any of the frames to see what the
animation looks like frame-by-frame.
710) Click Export. 11) Make sure the Save in
field is set to your floppy disk. 12) In the
File name field, enter animated-blackbackground-st
anford.gif 13) Click Save.
814) Launch Dreamweaver. 15) Open one of your
web pages. 16) Under Insert, choose Image. 17)
Locate animated-blackbackground-stanford.gif,
then click OK. 18) Save the web page. Then view
the web page in Internet Explorer and/or
Netscape.
