4Objectives
- At the end of this course, students should be
able to - Acquire clearer view on the concept of Islamic
civilization, its characteristic and development
within the society.
5- Individually and collectively able to internalise
the concept of civilization towards the building
of harmonious Malaysian society.
6Synopsis
- This subject will generally discuss Islamic
civilization its growth and influence to social
development. - The subject will also clarify certain issues
pertaining to Islamic teaching such as the
concept of jihad, Islamic state, and freedom in
choosing religion.

believed to have about 40,000 population.
