The Century Council Mission

• Promote responsible decision-making regarding
  drinking or non-drinking of beverage alcohol and
  discourage all forms of irresponsible consumption
  through education, communications, research, law
  enforcement and other programs.

NCAA

• Joined with the NCAA to air PSA during March
  Madness Basketball Tournament
• PSA aired on CBS, ESPN and DirecTV
• PSA will run during each televised NCAA final

• Placed joint NCAA/TCC ad in every NCAA game
  brochure
• Jointly developed video and facilitator guide for
  NCAA Speak Up Program

Blood Alcohol Educator

• Teaches users about the impact of gender, weight
  and food on their BAC and provides useful
  information on state laws, BAC limits, traffic
  safety and impairment issues.
• Creates the most dynamic way for people to learn
  how their drinking equates to their individual
  BAC.
• Over 100,000 CD-ROMs distributed
• BAE Truck/Van has been on a cross-country cyber
  tour since Fall 1999.
• Research indicates the program is successful in
  meeting its objectives as noted by a significant
  increase from pre- to post-use awareness of state
  BAC limits and impact of gender and food.
