  strive to send out positive messages so the
  mirror images bounce back positive feedback.

• The twist tie symbolizes the tie that binds us
  all together as a group.

The Velcro

• The Velcro is to remind us to take the advice we
  often give our children and to keep our lips
  closed when we are tempted to say unkind things
  about each other.

• The Band-Aid is in the cup in case we forget to
  use our Velcro and say something we wish we
  hadnt.

• The toothpick is to remind us to pick out the
  good qualities in each other.
