15Precautions
- Printer may not work properly if you dont
consider these! - Font choices (use common Windows fonts Arial,
Times New Roman, etc.) - Over extended text boxes (going beyond the
slide area can cause the printer to freak out
and print text erratically or not at all!) - Copy and paste (better to save in software like
Photoshop or PowerPoint as a file and then
insert)

17Steps for Printing the Posters
- Proofread your poster before you send it on to be
printed. It may also be helpful to share it with
a colleague for fresh eyes to proofread. - When everything is perfect fill out the plot
request and send it on see next slide to have a
proof version printed (if there is time). - Examine the proof copy and make any changes to
your poster, follow the instruction that you get
in the email informing you that the proof is done
to request the final printing. You will be
notified via email when it is done. Caution The
inks take time to dry Your poster may smear
within the first 24 hours of printing.
