designed to demonstrate the touch agriculture has
on our daily lives! This is achieved through
interactive displays, demonstrations, graphics,
computer stations, video, and more!.
- 2006 is the seventh full year Planet Agriculture
has appeared at stock shows throughout Texas.
- The average annual attendance is well over 3
million
- Planet Agriculture also reaches untold numbers
through media exposure in the form of television,
radio, and newspaper coverage.

Phase 1 Revitalization of the Planet Agriculture
exhibit occurred in 2003-04, providing all new
displays. Phase 2 was completed in 2005.

25 graphic panels can be utilized for 14 agricul
tural commodities. Graphic panels are filled wi
th pictures, information, and fun facts about the
various agricultural commodities.

8 byproduct panels and 4 by-product crate displa
ys are available for 14 agricultural
commodities. Byproduct displays showcase the nu
merous consumer goods derived from agricultural
commodities used daily.
10Grain sorghum enviro-scape shown.
25 enviro-scapes (7 x 10 graphics) are availab
le representing 14 agricultural commodities.
Enviro-scapes help visitors experience the look
of real-life activity on the farm or ranch.
11Presentation stage available at some locations.
Presentations and demonstrations by Texas Farm B
ureau staff and outside organizations are made to
visitors of Planet Agriculture.
Presentations may include cotton ginning, rice h
ulling, leather demonstrations, fashion shows,
gardening demonstrations, and much more!
