Facts

• When there are clear nights in the sky, the
  people on the Oregon Trail sing campfire songs.
  When its raining, they sleep under the wagons
  and in the tents.
• On the Oregon Trail, people traveled on very
  flat, dusty land. Thats why after the wagons
  pass it brings up dust from the ground which
  makes it hard to breathe and see.
• The Oregon Trail went through enormous mountains.
  It snowed between the mountains, making it hard
  to get through them.

More Facts!!!

• Most of the weather was hot, dry and sunny. But
  it still took 5 whole months to complete the
  Oregon Trail.
• Since it took so long, there was a lot of chances
  for bad weather, like lightening storms, hail,
  floods, snow, sleet, and tornados, on the Oregon
  Trail.
