Community Connection
  • DSC will fund seed projects locally, worth
    approximately 100K - 500K each
  • Short Fuse, quick turnaround.
  • Leveraged from existing DoD funding from
    Government Sponsor(s).
  • Some of the seed projects will be transitioned
    into a pilot to prove out the technology and
    concept in a real-world environment.
  • Annually, 2-4 of the pilots become fully funded
    Government projects of the Agencys annual
    budget.

Defense Technology Cluster
  • The purpose of the SATAI sponsored DTC is to
    accelerate the growth and success of existing
    Defense Technology firms, and to support the
    growth of new Defense Technology firms in the San
    Antonio region.

What is it?
  • The Defense Technology Cluster serves as the
    primary source for leveraging information, assets
    and resources to provide solutions for Department
    of Defense, Homeland Security, and other defense
    related requirements and for facilitating the
    transfer of those solutions to the commercial
    markets.
