WHO WE ARE
  • In Existence since 1964, first as the Ohio First
    Aid and Rescue Association
  • The Oldest, active association of its kind in the
    United States
  • Mission to provide the membership with low cost
    access to emergency medical services continuing
    education and to keep the membership abreast of
    the ever-changing field of emergency medical
    services

Continuing Education
  • State of Ohio Approved Provider of EMS Continuing
    Education
  • Certificate of Approval Number 1007, expires
    April 30, 2010
  • Speakers chosen for their expertise as leaders in
    the field of EMS locally, state-wide and/or
    nationally

Continuing Education cont.
  • You can earn a minimum of 11 continuing education
    hours at each quarterly conference that you
    choose to attend.
  • The Spring, Fall and Winter quarterly conferences
    are conducted at various locations throughout
    the state.
  • Quarterly conferences begin on Friday evening and
    run through late Sunday morning. The Annual
    Conference begins on Thursday evening and also
    runs through late Sunday morning.
  • The Annual Conference is held every June in the
    Columbus area and can yield many more hours of
    continuing education
  • A Free Lunch is provided, to all registered
    attendees on Saturday, at every conference

  • As an individual member of this association, all
    benefits are yours.
  • Easy access to reasonably priced Emergency
    Medical Services continuing education, at least
    four times a year at locations across the State
    of Ohio
  • Four issues each year of The Voice of Ohio EMS,
    the official quarterly publication of the Ohio
    Association of Emergency Medical Services with
    news and information concerning EMS and the
    Association.
