1
The Dynamics of Newton's Laws
  • By J. barber

2
Gravitational force
  • This force is the force of gravity.
  • The force pulls objects together.
  • This force pulls us down to earth.
  • In space there is no Gravity.

3
Electrical forces
  • The Electrical force is used mostly for power.
  • They are used in Batteries, wires, and even a
    laptop.
  • There are different types of Electricity.
  • Solar and Wind electricity are some examples,

4
Magnetic force and some others
  • This force happens when a magnetic field is
    present.
  • This reacts to certain metals.
  • For example two magnets will attract to each
    other.
  • Two other forces are nuclear and weak interaction
    forces.

5
Newton's 1st law of motion
  • The first law is an object at rest will stay at
rest and an object in motion will stay in motion
unless acted on by an outside force.
  • This law is also called the law of inertia.
  • It is when an object is resisting to move against
    the force.

6
Newton's 2nd Law
  • This law is the relationship between force,
    speed, and acceleration.
  • AF/M
  • One example of this is when your knocking on a
door if no one can hear you then you increase
your speed and then people might be able to hear
    you.

7
Newtons 3rd Law
  • Newtons 3rd Law is For every action there is an
    equal but opposite reaction.
  • This means when you do something you will effect
    something oppositely.
  • For example when a rocket is taking off the fire
is the action and the rocket flying is the
    reaction.

8
How to calculate force(Formula)
  • The way you get force is force equals mass times
    acceleration.
  • Formula FMA
  • Or forcemassacceleration
  • Ex. When your hitting a baseball you will use
more force to make it go farther

9
How to calculate acceleration(formula)
  • To calculate acceleration you must do force
    divided by the mass.
  • The formula is AF/M
  • Another way you can think of it is
    accelerationForce divided by the mass.
  • When the car starts to move thats the
    acceleration.

10
How to calculate the magnitude(formula)
  • The way that you calculate mass is you take the
force divided by the acceleration which will give
    you the mass.
  • Formula MF/A
  • Or magnitudeforce/acceleration
  • How high that you go.

11
How to calculate weight(formula)
  • You would have to do mass times gravity
  • Formula WMG
  • Or weight mass gravity
  • How heavy an object is.

12
Calculating mass
  • You would do weight divided by gravity
  • MW/G
  • Or mass weight/gravity
  • How much space it takes up.

13
How to calculate gravity
  • You would do weight divided by mass
  • Formula GW/M
  • Gravityweight/mass
  • Pulls objects together.
