Open Ended Response Review

• Problem of the week or month
• Teach and have students apply the H-S-C-E
  protocol
• Assign the problem to all students within the
  grade
• Each teacher brings the best answers-
  3s on state
  scoring rubric to grade level/meetings
• Discuss merits of each answer- identify a norm
  for each open ended response that the grade level
  agree upon
• Choose the anchor paper (norm)
  for each problem to share with
  students
• Repeat with a new open ended problem monthly.
