Fully Automatic Ultrasonic Cleaning
  • SCHOTT glass is cleaned by an automated
    ultrasonic cleaning line in a series of wash
    steps using commercial cleaning solutions
    recommended for optical glass
  • Highly alkaline cleaner (pH 12.4) containing
    alkalis, surface active compounds, solubiliser,
    wetting agents, complexing agent, sequestering
    agents
  • Mildly acidic (pH 4.3) containing acids, wetting
    agents, surfactant compounds, buffer compounds
  • Rinse steps in deionised water
  • Final infra-red drying stage
