GCS Gold Policy Revisited
  • Gold is voted on once per SCHOOL YEAR, at the end
    of Spring semester.
  • A maximum of THREE games can be inducted into
    Gold per year.
  • Any finished game (on the site) can be nominated
    for Gold, regardless of semester.
  • Nominations will be done through e-mail to the
officers two weeks before set date of vote. A
short paragraph about why the game deserves Gold
must be included with the nomination.

14
Gold continued
  • Anybody can nominate.
  • The week before vote this list will be published,
alongside with the paragraphs for additional
information, and members encouraged to play the
    games on the list.
  • Each member will write on a piece of paper their
top 3 picks out of the nominations
  • The top 3 games with the most votes will be
    inducted into Gold

15
Retroactive voting
  • We will be doing a retroactive vote of Gold, with
    Fall 2004-Spring 2005 and Fall 2005-Spring 2006
Golds being awarded first. Then, at the end of
the semester, we'll vote on Fall 2006-Spring
    2007.
  • Brings the Gold potential to 9 at the end of the
    year.
  • These votes will be simulated as if they occurred
    at the correct time
  • The most recent version of older games will be
    used.
