    CEO told his secretary obviously they were not
    interested so he had other things to do and would
    not reschedule another appointment

  • Management support was GREAT! Jim Wright spoke
    on several occasions about why he chooses to give
    to United Way. Kim reminded everyone how that if
    they had jobs they were members of the Lucky Dog
    Club. Individual from management team shared how
    he and his family personally benefited from using
    United Way.
  • Campaign kicked off with a tail gate party on
    Halloween afterwards they had their quarterly
    meeting. Because of the economy they did a low
    key campaign. They did have a leadership lunch
    November 3. Toward the end of the campaign Donna
    Miller (CASA) presented to all the
    employeesDebby Rainey also spoke to the
    employees.
  • TSC challenged employees to give their fair
    share. Campaign was conducted via electronic
    communications with two major exceptionsthis
    year team members were asked to speak about how
    they had benefitted from Living United. They
    had a silent auction, auctioned off Kentucky
    Derby and Tennessee Titan tickets. Special
    events total was 7,148.00. They created a Jeans
    tracker to post on the intranet with Thank Yous
    in the form of jeans days in increasing
    increments as they met their goals, when they met
    goal they also got the day after Christmas off.
    Campaign goal was 275,000.final was
    328,894.63!

    that have been shared are excellent ways to be
    ready to engage your CEO in conversation.

    call doesnt need to be all about what the
    company can do for us and our community.
