• We put the ice hand into a tray.

• The fingers had started to melt.
• It looked like witches fingers or the claws of a
  bear.

• The fingers had melted completely.
• There was a lot of water in the tray.

We found out that

• When we freeze water it turns into ice.
• When ice melts it turns into water.
• Freezing water is a reversible change.
• Melting ice is a reversible change.

We can turn water into ice and ice back into
water.

Other hands

• We decided to freeze some other things.
• We put custard, beans, spaghetti hoops, tomato
  sauce and minestrone soup into gloves.
• We put them into the freezer.

We found out that

• When we freeze custard, we can melt it to change
  it back again.
• When we freeze tomato sauce it changes back again
  when it melts.
• When we melted frozen spaghetti hoops, they went
  squishy and stayed in the hand shape.
• When we freeze soup, then melt it , it changes
  back again.
• We can melt frozen beans. They change back.
