Document inspection
  • Legal base - Council Directive 2002/89/EC
    amending Directive 2000/29/EC. Article 13c. 2 (a)
  • Documentary checks and the inspections for
    compliance (Article 13b.1) with the provisions of
    Annex III (2000/29/EC) must be made by the
    official body of point of entry or by the customs
    authorities of the point of entry.

  • Identity checks must be made by the official body
    of point of entry in connection with the customs
    procedures.

    EU from 1 March 2005.

    introduced.
